Membership Opportunities with CARVC

CARVC membership is open to all privately owned campgrounds and RV Parks that are licensed and open to the public in North Carolina and South Carolina. While CARVC does not inspect, regulate, or rate campground members, we proudly promote high standards of operation and exceptional customer service. Our inclusive membership structure supports campgrounds of all sizes, with dues based on the number of licensed RV sites at your location.

We offer Supplier Memberships to businesses serving the Outdoor Hospitality Industry. Our campground members are encouraged to support these trusted suppliers when making purchasing decisions. Supplier involvement not only strengthens the association but also enhances visibility and credibility within the industry- helping CARVC more effectively advocate for park operators.

Supplier Membership Overview and Benefits

To be a CARVC Supplier Member, you must offer a product or service to the association, its members, or the outdoor hospitality industry at large.

Your support goes a long way to adding strength and recognition to the outdoor hospitality industry, as well as increasing CARVC’s ability to represent the interests of RV park and campground owners both at the state and national level. Associate Membership Overview and Benefits

Eligibility: According to CARVC Bylaws, Associate Membership is open to any individual, organization, or corporation with an interest in the camping industry and/or operating a campground or RV park located outside of North and South Carolina.

Ideal For: This membership is perfect for those exploring the idea of starting a campground or RV park, currently in the planning or development phase, or simply interested in learning more about the outdoor hospitality industry.
Stay Informed: Receive CARVC's bi-monthly newsletter to stay up to date on trends, news, and legislative updates in the Carolinas and across the outdoor hospitality sector.

Get Recognized: Your membership will be acknowledged in the CARVC e-newsletter, distributed to more than 1,400 contacts-including member and nonmember campgrounds as well as supplier partners.

2026 RV PARK/CAMPGROUND MEMBERSHIP

Campground Dues Tier (annual):
Campground dues (2026) are based in the # of total sites in your park (including on-site rental units).

Parks up to 50 sites:
- Base rate of $348.46 (no per-site rate)
Parks with 51-547 sites (see calculation below):
- Base rate of $357.09
- Per site rate of $3.45 - for sites 51-547
  (subtract 50 from total sites, multiply adjusted site # by $3.45. Add $ amount to base & flat rates)
Parks with 548 or more sites:
- Flat rate of $2,000.00 (no per-site rate)

Parks joining mid-year will be pro-rated for that year. Dues invoices are issued annually in May, and are due by mid-August for membership the following year and for inclusion in the next edition of the printed CARVC camping magazine.
